The CSAF Monitoring Tools are designed for agricultural SME businesses facing price volatility. This includes private companies, cooperatives and farmer associations, or other businesses processing and/or trading commodities such as coffee, cacao, nuts, fruits, and other agricultural crops.
To support these businesses, CSAF has developed two tools—each available in English, Spanish, and French—that enable agricultural SMEs to track harvest purchases and sales contracts, calculate exposure to international or local price fluctuations, apply hedging strategies, and access dynamic visual analytics to inform decision-making. For coffee businesses that receive financing from CSAF member lenders, this tool is required for monthly reporting.
